Nainital – The dazzling eye of Uttarakhand
Mountains, the name itself suggests something big. Something very strong and tough. Something which stands tall in any kind of situation.
They teach us all.
Nanital, the enchanting hill station situated in Uttarakhand. I hope most of you have visited this place and maybe many times also. So I won’t be giving any typical information which you find everywhere on Google. But, everyone else has a different perspective of seeing anything in that place. Nanital implies “the eye” so according to me its the panoramic town full of magnificent lakes.
This small hill town is serene, calm and tranquil. One can find equanimity by sitting there enjoying sunrise, sunset, watching high rise mountains, the chills of wind and the cozy weather. I know someone somewhere is getting high and packing their bags..!!
On my visit to Nainital, I once again found it so beautiful. The very first step I took out of the car leaves me mesmerized. I was once again lost in the beauty of the place. After check-in at my hotel opposite to the one and only nani jheel, I headed along my troop to do some sort of touristy things and started with my darshan at Ghanti mandir. I know, I know you must be thinking as if konse mandir main ghanti nai hoti. But people let me tell you. This temple has more than even a thousand bells that are hung by the people on fulfilling their wishes each with a message. That place has so positive vibes that one gets lost them we were so privileged that to watch the aarti. We thought let’s explore more and we headed ahead and reached a place called gagar is known for its apple orchards and majestic Himalayas views but we should not forget we are in the mountains expect the unexpected so gagar main Sagar nai mila, inshort it was full of clouds.
But, we didn’t regret coming over here several km as the journey was even more beautiful than the destination. Kehte h na सफ़र खूबसूरत है ं, मंज़िल से भी ।
On our way back, the weather changed as if Harry Potter has moved his wand and it was all over clouds and clouds and clouds. The chills of wind left my spine chilled. It was so beautiful all over that we stopped and took our shots and enjoyed the mesmerizing beauty of mountains. The mall road itself is full of many cafes and restaurants, one can easily get cozy with their partners and lost in the beauty.
There are numerous places to visit here especially the temples and sattal.
P.S. Don’t forget to boat..!!
Apart from normal tourist stuff, one can get a break from their daily monotonous routine and just see how privileged you are to watch n enjoy all such beauty.
If you are a mountain lover like me, then don’t forget to add this place to your bucket list.
