Manali, nestled between the snow-capped mountains of Himachal Pradesh is an all around the year destination of India. Very popular among couples, adventure lovers, peace seekers, and hippies as well. Another star of Himachal Pradesh is Kasol. A hamlet, filled with many hidden gems to be explored on your own. Nestled in the Parvati Valley, it is also known as the “Amsterdam of India”. Known for various trekking trails, which include Kheerganga. Kasol is the hub of various parties which attract young tourists and a small hike from Kasol will take you to Chalal Village which is too beautiful to be real.
The last stop of our itinerary is Tosh. Placed in Parvati Valley, tosh is still a lesser-known place among tourists. It is also known as the base of the Kheerganga trek. It is popular for a double rainbow waterfall. It is a must-visit place, whenever in Parvati Valley.
How to reach Manali?
Manali can be easily reached from all around the world.
From Delhi, there are various Volvos as well as government buses that run between Delhi to Manali daily. This will take around 13-14 hours.
By Air, There is no direct flight between Manali & Delhi. The nearest airport is Bhuntar which is at a distance of 50km from Manali and can be covered by bus or taxi.
Manali can also be reached through your car or taxi and the route is simply breath-taking but tiring as well.

Places to visit in Manali, Kasol and Tosh
Hadimba Temple: also known as Dhungari Temple, dates back to 1553. The temple is most renowned for its unique architecture and is the most famous among tourists visiting Manali.
Solang valley: whenever in Manali, Solang Valley or Solang Nala can not be missed. Situated at a distance of 14km, covered with snow-capped mountains from all sides, it is very famous among adventure lovers and snow lovers as well. From skiing to paragliding, from Maggi to tea, you will find everything here.
Mall Road Manali: Mall road is the lifeline of Manali. always stacked up with tourists, mall road is a hub of shopping and food in Manali. Shawls, mufflers, suits, caps, gloves, boots, you name it and they have it. Apart from shopping, it is also a foodies paradise.
Old Manali: another must-visit place of Manali. Visit here to explore a variety of cafes and restaurants and to buy some super cool stuff such as one of a kind bags or pants.
Rohtang Pass: Located at a distance of 50km from Manali, this place offers views that can not be missed. Right from the journey to the destination, it keeps offering some mind-blowing views. A permit is required to visit here. You will witness the shooting location of the Bollywood movie “ Jab We Met”.
Dhungri Van Vihar: a wildlife sanctuary, just beside the Hidimba temple is a perfect place to admire nature’s beauty at its best. This place has its root in Mahabharath, as they say, Hidimba, the wife of Bhim, used to bathe here in a pond located inside.
Jogini Waterfall: just a hike, and you will see this beautiful waterfall in front of you with a scenic view.
Vashisht Temple: Located near the river Beas, this temple is known for hot water springs which are known as the cure to various skin diseases.
Manikaran: Located in the Parvati valley, it is an important site for both Hindu and Sikh pilgrims. Manikaran is also known for its hot springs as it is said that the diseases can be cured by taking a bath in them.
Kutla: located in Parvati valley, in Kasol, it is known for its double rainbow waterfall and breathtaking views.

Paragliding in Manali: Paragliding in Manali is one of the most exciting activities to do and every adventure lover never misses it out.
BEST TIME: May- October BEST PLACE: Solang Valley
A 15-20 min flight in Solang valley will cost around Rs2000-3000.
River Rafting in Manali: another activity to do in Manali for adrenaline junkies is river rafting. If you are a newbie this is the perfect location to do river rafting.
BEST TIME: June-July, October- February BEST PLACE: Pirdi, near Beas river

Food to try in Manali
Siddu: It’s a local dish of Manali, made up of dough of bread, available both in veg. & non-veg. You’ll easily find it selling on the street.
Trout Fish: One of the best dishes of Manali and Kullu, Trout is a treat to any fish lover. It’s not only tasty but healthy as well!
Dham: a dish usually served in lunch, cooked on firewood. It is a combination of various dishes and can be found only in Manali. It consists of Kadhi, Madra, Dal, Khatta & Meetha.
