Dalhousie is known for its scenic beauty
Dalhousie is a hill station in Chamba district, in the state of Himachal Pradesh. It is situated on 5 hills and has an elevation of 1,970 meters above sea level. Dalhousie Town was named after the Earl of Dalhousie, who was the British Governor-General in India while establishing this place as a summer retreat. Dalhousie is basically famous for Khajjiar (Mini Switzerland of India). Dalhousie is a high-elevation town spread crosswise over 5 hills close to the Dhauladhar mountain extend in the north Indian province of Himachal Pradesh. It’s home to pilgrim time structures, including St. Francis and St. John’s houses of worship, which go back to the standard of the English Raj during the 1800s. A trek up Dainkund Pinnacle prompts Pholani Devi Sanctuary. Toward the north, Subhash Baoli is a quiet zone with pine trees and all-encompassing perspectives.
