Morning Day 1 : Bhagsu/Dharamkot toTriund You will start your trek from Bhagsu/Dharamkot. This is an easy trek that passes through the waterfall and forest scenery and then to Triund. At night you will do camping at Triund. Meals :Night : DinnerStay at the camps in Triund 5 Kms Day 2 : Triund to Laka Glacier Today after Breakfast you will start your Trek to Laka Glacier in the lap of Kangra Valley and enveloped in the mighty Dhauladhar ranges. At night you will do camping at Laka Glacier. Meals :Night : Breakfast, Dinner.Stay at the camps in Laka Glacier 12 Kms Day 3 : Laka Glacier to Dharamkot Today after Breakfast you will start descending towards Bhagsu or Dharamkot. On the way, you can have your Lunch (not included). Meals :Night : BreakfastNil

Things to carry for Laka Glacier Trek

  • Sturdy Trekking Shoes (preferred waterproof).
  • T-shirt and Thermal as required.
  • 2 pairs of socks.
  • 3 Water Bottles (1 litre each).
  • Jacket.
  • Raincoat (In Monsoons)
  • Medium Backpack which is lightweight and easy to carry.
  • Warm Cap and Gloves (in winter).
  • Trekking Poles (optional).
  • Sunscreen lotion/Cold Cream (optional).
  • Toilet Paper.
  • Hand Sanitizer.
  • Power bank.

Important things to remember for Laka Glacier Trek

  • Camping has been banned by the Government at Triund Top since 2018. Camping is available at Mana Campsite which is 2km below Triund Top.  
  • Only packaged drinking water is available for twice its price at Triund Top. Try to carry as much water as possible with you.
  • We cannot guarantee a bonfire at Triund Top due to restrictions by the Forest Department.
  • In winter, we may shift your stay to Triund, Karthani, Magic view, Mana Campsite, or Dharamkot Village in case of heavy snowfall during the trek.
  • Only dry pit toilet tents are available at Triund. Moreover, pitching a toilet tent is sometimes not allowed due to restrictions. 
  • You won’t be allowed to enter the check post by the Forest department if you are late. You have to start early to reach the check post before 11 am.
  • In the winter and rainy seasons, wear waterproof shoes with gaiters.
  • There will be no electricity at Triund Top, even if you are staying inside the guest house. So charge your electronic items before starting the trek and carry a power bank.
  • There are three ways to reach Triund Top from Dharamkot. The guide may take you through any one of these routes.
  • We may cancel your trek without any notice if the climatic conditions are unfavourable. In such a case you can either choose the next subsequent date or an alternate trek suggested by the guide. However, there will be no refund.
  • Leave No Trace: Don’t litter on the Trails, protect nature.
