Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi to Manali

Dist: 529 km | Time: 12 to 16 hr | Altitude: 300 m to 2050 m
You will board the Volvo bus or cab at the Delhi bus stand in the evening and begin your overnight journey to Manali via Chandigarh, Mandi, and Kullu. It will take around 12 to 13 hours to reach Manali the next morning.

Day 2: Stay at Manali

Check In Time: 10:00 am to 11:00 am
After arriving at Manali, check in to your hotel, and acclimatise to prepare for your Spiti motorcycle expedition. You will also be briefed about the Bike Trip, covering the safety in the Himalayan terrain and route navigation. In the evening, enjoy leisure time and independently explore Bustling Manali town or nearby places.

Day 3: Manali to Jibhi

Dist: 102 km | Time: 05 to 08 hr | Altitude: 2050 m to 2242 m
After breakfast (not included), kickstart your engines for himalayan motorcycle expedition, cruising the roads of NH3 alongside the Beas River. After crossing the 2.8 km-long Aut tunnel, you will divert onto the serpentine roads of Banjar Valley. Upon reaching the riverside hamlet of Jibhi, you will park your machines and settle in for the Night.

Day 4: Jibhi to Chitkul

Dist: 214 km | Time: 08 to 10 hr | Altitude: 2242 m to 3450 m
After waking up to the morning views of Jibhi, you will start your ride, navigating the sharp hairpin bends of Jalori Pass and descending into the sweeping Sutlej River Valley. You will then continue your expedition alongside the cliff-hanging tarmac of Kinnaur, alongside the Baspa River. When you arrive in Chitkul, you will visit the famous “Hindustan ka Akhiri Dhaba” and check in to your stay.

Day 5: Chitkul to Kalpa

Dist: 62 km | Time: 03 to 05 hr | Altitude: 3450 m to 2960 m
Fire up your engines to navigate the narrow, cliff-carved roads descending back towards the deep Sutlej Valley. Today, your motorcycle will transit through the rugged Kinnaur district, offering dramatic gorge views. You will end your ride in Kalpa, also known as “Ajanta of the Himalayas”. Dismount your machines and relax at your hotel in Kalpa.

Day 6: Kalpa to Tabo

Dist: 160km | Time: 7 to 10 hr | Altitude: 2960 m to 3280 m
Wake up to the majestic views of Kinner Kailash Peaks before you saddle up and ride into the high altitude cold desert of the Spiti region. You will navigate your motorcycle past Khab Sangam and tackle the famous hairpin loops (Maling Nala and Kazigs) to reach Nako. Keeping the throttle steady, you will detour Gue monastery(if time permits) before parking your bikes for the night in Tabo.

Day 7: Tabo to Kaza

Dist: 180km | Time: 7 to 10 hr | Altitude: 3280 m to 3800 m
After breakfast, visit Tabo Monastery and then kickstart your bikes towards Kaza. On the way, ride off the beaten path to explore Pin Valley and later visit the Dhankar monastery, which sits dramatically on a cliff edge between rocky spurs in Dhankar Village. As you cruise along the Spiti River towards the biker hub of Kaza, you will make a quick pitstop at Lingti Waterfall before parking your machines at Kaza.

Day 8: Hikkim, Langza and Komic

Dist: 50km | Time: 7 to 10 hr | Altitude: 3800 m to 4590 m
After breakfast, rev up your engines to conquer the famous high altitude dirt trails of the Kaza loop. You will ride up to the Buddha Statue in Langza, testing your machine’s endurance in the thin mountain air. Next, you will navigate the steep, unpaved gradients to Komic Village. Finally, park your motorcycle at Hikkim to send a postcard from the planet's highest post office before you cruise back to Kaza.

Day 9: Kaza to Chandrataal Lake

Dist: 96km | Time: 8 to 10 hr | Altitude: 3800 m to 4250 m
After a morning visit to the iconic key monastery, you will gear up for the most thrilling and challenging day of your Spiti Motorcycle Expedition. You will roll your tyres across Chicham Bridge before riding on the steep gravel ascents to reach Kunzum Pass at 4500 metres. Further, the route will test your driving skills as you carefully navigate brutal water crossings and narrow dirt tracks before you reach Chandratal Lake.

Day 10: Chandrataal to Manali and Depart

Dist: 111km | Time: 8 to 10 hr | Altitude: 4250 m to 2050 m
After spending the night in Chandratal, get ready for the notoriously gruelling off-road stretch of the entire Spiti Circuit. You will rely on precise throttle control to navigate the deep glacial water crossings and dirt tracks as you descend through Batal and Chhatru. In the evening, after arriving at Manali, you will board your Bus to Delhi Overnight.

Day 11: Reaching Delhi

Dist: 529 km | Time: 12 to 16 hr | Altitude: 2050 m to 300 m
After a long overnight journey, you will reach the bustling plains of Delhi by morning. As you step off, it's time to say goodbye to your riding brotherhood and officially close the chapter of Spiti Bike Trip. Though the machines are parked away, you will carry home a lifetime of thrilling memories of conquering the Spiti Circuit

Highlights

  • Make sure you are 100% comfortable with off-road biking. Expect to encounter slippery, narrow, unpaved roads and stretches of grit and rubble with water flowing through them.
  • Only backpacks are allowed. You can carry luggage weighing only 9-10 Kg per person. Extra luggage will cost you INR1500 per Kg.
  • You must carry valid identification proof at the time of check-in. (PAN cards are not accepted.
  • The sequence of the day-wise itinerary for the Spiti Bike Trip may change during the trip, depending upon restrictions or any other unknown issues.
  • We shall not be responsible for any change in the itinerary for the Spiti Bike Trip due to union issues, landslides, flight cancellations, weather conditions or any unforeseen events. The additional cost incurred will be in addition to the package price.
  • If you cancel your trip midway due to any reason, the remaining amount will be non-refundable.
  • No Refund or Compensation for any unused services/transportation in any circumstance.
  • Any increase in cost due to a medical emergency should be borne by the client. There will be no refund for any unused service.
  • If there is an unprecedented hike in the cost of transport during the trip (including fuel surcharge) or accommodation, it will affect the cost.
  • The timings given in the itinerary and program may be changed without notice.
  • Places mentioned in the itinerary may be skipped without notice.
  • Guests shall be liable to pay for any damages, except normal wear and tear to an asset, if any.
  • Rates will be different for foreign tourists. Kindly contact us for more information.
  • We will not pay, reimburse, cover losses or take any responsibility for any activity which is due to circumstances beyond our control. When we say circumstances beyond our control, it means any event that we cannot avoid even after taking all the necessary precautions. Such events include, but are not limited to, airport closures, war, natural disasters, nuclear disasters, pandemics, acts of terrorism, illness, death, injury, burglary, and bad weather.

Elastic Bandage/Crepe: Used to treat muscular strains and Sprains.

Pain Relief Spray: For fast relief from insect bites, scrapes, cuts and burns.

Avomine: It is used to treat allergies, trouble sleeping, and nausea.

Crocin: It provides symptomatic relief of mild to moderate pain, e.g., headaches or migraines.

Combiflam: It contains two painkiller medicines. They work together to reduce pain, fever, and inflammation

Muscle relaxant: It is used to mitigate symptoms such as muscle spasms, pain, and hyperreflexia.

Digene: Used against acidity caused by indigestion, providing quick relief.

Cetirizine: Used to relieve allergic symptoms like watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes/nose, sneezing, hives, and itching.

ORS: Oral Rehydration Solution. It is used to treat dehydration caused by diarrhoea, a common illness in travellers.

We understand that plans can change, but the booking amount is non-refundable due to the costs we incur in preparing for your tour or activity. If you wish to reschedule for a different date, we'll adjust it to the same package, providing you with the necessary flexibility.

If you have paid the total amount but cancelled the package. You will be provided with a refund as mentioned below:

  • 30 Days or More: 50% of the total amount is refundable.
  • 15 to 29 Days: 25% of the total amount is refundable.
  • 0 to 14 Days: No Refunds.

Tours or activities may be cancelled due to unforeseen events beyond our control, such as weather conditions heavy rain or storms) or government restrictions like sudden closures of specific areas. In such a scenario, we will provide an alternate tour or activity. However, no refunds will be provided.
