By Air: Kullu Airport at Kullu is the nearest airport. One can get on a taxi or rickshaw from the airport to reach the destination.
By Road: There is no access to the airport and railway in Spiti 4×4 Winter Expedition, it can only be reached by medium roads. The roads in Spiti 4×4 Winter Expedition are almost open throughout the year. In any case, one can check the route as some of the roads are closed for 6 months in the Spiti 4×4 Winter Expedition.
By Train: The nearest station to the Spiti 4×4 Winter Expedition is Shimla. One can hire cabs and Jeeps to reach the destination of theSpiti 4×4 Winter Expedition. Buses are also available to reach Spiti 4×4 Winter Expedition.

Trilokinath Temple:
Trilokinath is one of the names of the Hindu god, Shiva, meaning the “Leader of the Trinity”. but local tradition clearly states that it was originally a Buddhist vihara or monastery, although nothing remains of the original building. A popular story says that a Kulu Raja reached Trilokinath and tried to carry off the idol, but was defeated in the attempt, as the stone became too heavy to move. There is a mark on the right leg of the marble figure, which is said to have resulted from a sword blow by a Kullu soldier of the time. A silver idol of Kali as Mahishasurmardini was installed by Thakur Himpala in 1959-60.
Shashur Monastery:
Shashur or Sashur Monastery is a Buddhist monastery of the Drugpa sect in the Lahaul and Spiti Valley expedition, Himachal Pradesh, northern India. It is located 137 kilometres from Manali. Sha-shur means “blue pines” in the local dialect, as patches of blue pine can be seen around the monastery.[1] A smaller gompa had existed previous to the current building. In the month of June or July Chham is performed in the monastery. Shahshur monastery is related to the Gelukpa order or red hat sect of Tibetan Buddhism. The monastery was founded by the Lama Dewa Tyatsho hailing from Ladakh in the 16th century but its construction was stopped after a while. Later, the construction of the monastery was restarted by Lama Dewa Gyatsho in the 17th century. It is also believed that Dewa Gyatsho stayed in the monastery till his death.
The Guru Ghantal Monastery:
The Mighty Guru Ghantal Monastery is the most popular destination for travellers in the Lahaul region. Surrounded by mountains and rolling sand dunes, the monastery spells magic. It is deemed to be the oldest monastery in the Lahaul region. Legends say that the monastery was established by Guru Rinpoche in the 8th century CE. In the year 1857, historians discovered a copper goblet which is the oldest example of metalwork from the 1st century. There is a mobile network available in Spiti valley but it is very limited. In most places, you won’t get any mobile network at all. In some places, you will get only BSNL or MTNL networks. Even in places where you get a mobile network, it is mostly 3G only. There are very few places where you will get a 4G network. So, you should not be expecting any kind of mobile network during the Spiti 4×4 Winter Expedition. You will be cut off from the rest of the world for the entire duration of the expedition.
After the closure of Rohtang Pass and Kunzum Pass, Spiti valley is cut off from rest of the world for about 6 months. So, to enter the valley in winter the two routes available are:
