Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra | Transfer to Gangtok

Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to Gangtok. Enjoy a brief stop at Triveni View Point, where the Teesta and Rangeet rivers converge. Continue your scenic drive through winding roads alongside the Teesta River. Explore MG Marg at your leisure in the evening before checking into your hotel for an overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 2: Explore Gangtok; Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir and Nathula Pass

After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion around Gangtok. Start by visiting the picturesque Tsomgo Lake, renowned for its changing colours. Then, continue to Baba Mandir, a tribute to Indian Army soldier Baba Harbhajan Singh. For those interested, hire a taxi to visit Nathula Pass, the Indo-China border post (subject to availability and extra cost). Return to Gangtok for an overnight stay.

Day 3:Gangtok Local Sightseeing

Visit the various attractions in and around Gangtok after breakfast at the hotel. Commence your sightseeing with Dro-Dul Chorten and enjoy the silence and prayer recitations there. Then, head over to Tashi View Point and get mesmerised by the vision of Kanchenjunga and Siniolchu Peaks. Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok are two beautiful hilltop temples that give views of the beauty of Gangtok and the range of Kanchenjunga. End the day at Ban Jhankri Falls, where you can relax or indulge in adventure activities. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 4: Gangtok to Darjeeling

After breakfast at your hotel in Gangtok, you will be transferred to Darjeeling, a scenic hill station in the Himalayas. Enjoy the scenic journey on winding mountain roads with views of the majestic Himalayas. As you approach Darjeeling, the streets will be lined with fragrant tea plantations. End the day with an overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 5: Local Darjeeling Sightseeing

Start your day early at 4 AM with a visit to Tiger Hill for a breathtaking sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga. Return to the hotel for breakfast, followed by a memorable toy train ride and a UNESCO World Heritage experience from Darjeeling to Ghum Station and back via Batasia Loop, offering panoramic views and visiting the Gorkha Regiment Memorial. Continue to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park to explore mountaineering history and see rare Himalayan animals like the Red Panda. Enjoy a ropeway ride over tea plantations and visit the serene Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda. End the day with an overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 6: Departure, Darjeeling to Bagdogra Airport/ NJP Station.

Highlights

  • In exceptional cases, we may shift you to a similar hotel if the mentioned hotel is unavailable.
  • Check-in/check-out time at all the properties will be at noon. Some properties may not allow early check-in.
  • Buffet Service will be available from 8:00 am to 9:30 am and 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm.
  • You will get hot water in showers for a few hours in the morning. Kindly ask the receptionist about the times in advance.
  • Triple Sharing does not necessarily mean Three Separate Beds. It can have one double bed and one rollaway bed.
  • The vehicle will be provided as per the itinerary, and any additional sightseeing not mentioned in the itinerary will be charged extra.
  • No refund or compensation for any unused services/transportation in any circumstance.
  • Visits to museums/parks/monasteries/forts in the tour are subject to their opening on the day of the visit as per the rules of the competent authority.
  • We will not bear any cost for flights cancelled or delayed due to any reason.
  • There will be no compensation if you are delayed due to roadblocks, natural calamities, or personal reasons. The alternate accommodation cost due to the same should be borne by you.
  • There are no changes in the date of the tour once booked. However, you can postpone the tour if it gets cancelled due to natural calamities, government restrictions, pandemics, riots, or war.
  • Rates are subject to change until you have paid the total amount.
  • Room allotment will be as per the availability at check-in time; floor or view preferences are not guaranteed.
  • All expenses that are not included in the cost of the package shall be paid directly at the time of checkout.
  • Smoking or drinking is not allowed inside the vehicle.
