Day 01: Chandigarh to Shimla/Narkanda

Dist:180 km | Time: 6 to 7 hr | Altitude:350 m to 2708 m
After gathering in Chandigarh and a short briefing, you will start your Spiti Valley Bike Trip by kick-starting your Royal Enfield Motorbikes and leaving the plains behind. Cruising along the Himalayan roads past Narkanda and Shimla towards Narkanda. Feel the mountain air turn crisp as you check in for your first night in Shimla/Narkanda

Day 2: Shimla/Narkanda to Sangla/Chitkul

Dist: 160km | Time: 5 to 8 hr | Altitude: 2708 m to 2630 m
Crank up your engines and ride towards Sangla/Chitkul alongside the Sutlej River. Today’s ride will be through the narrow roads carved right out of the rocky Cliffs of Kinnaur Valley. At Karcham, you will take a turn to navigate tight curves alongside the Baspa River, pushing deep into the Sangla Valley until you arrive at Chitkul.

Day 3: Sangla/Chitkul to Kalpa

Dist: 90km | Time: 5 to 9 hr | Altitude: 2630 m to 2960 m
Wake up to the views of Chitkul Valley, and after breakfast, start your journey to Kalpa, known as “Ajanta of the Himalayas” through Steep, narrow roads. This stretch of the Spiti Circuit offers dramatic deep drops on one side and a view of the Kinner Kailash Ranges on the other Side. After arriving in Kalpa, check into your hotel for the night stay.

Day 4: Kalpa to Tabo

Dist: 160km | Time: 7 to 10 hr | Altitude: 2960 m to 3280 m
Wake up to the view of the Kinner Kailash Ranges. Today, you will officially transition into the high altitude cold desert of Spiti. You will ride past Khab Sangam (the confluence of the Sutlej and Spiti Rivers) and ride via the hairpin loops of Kazigs and Maling nala. After taking a halt at Nako and visiting Nako Lake, you will visit Gompa Monastery (if time permits). Later, you will ride towards Tabo to rest your machines.

Day 5: Tabo to Kaza

Dist: 180km | Time: 7 to 10 hr | Altitude: 3280 m to 3800 m
In the morning, you will visit a living piece of history, Tabo Monastery, which is around 1000 years old. After this, you will ride your bikes towards Kaza. On the way, you will take the beaten path into Pin Valley and cliffside Dhankar Monastery freezed in time. After this, you will halt at Lingti Waterfall, then follow the Spiti River to Kaza, where you will spend the night in a hotel/homestay.

Day 6: Hikkim, Langza and Komic

Dist: 50km | Time: 7 to 10 hr | Altitude: 3800 m to 4590 m
Today, after breakfast, prepare your bikes for the dirt trails of Kaza Loop. Ride up the mountain to visit Langza, a village uniquely scattered with prehistoric Tethys Sea fossils. Next ride towards the remote village, Komic, pushing your adventure touring limits. At last, post a handwritten postcard from the planet’s highest post office, Hikkim. Return to Kaza for the night stay.

Day 7: Kaza to Chandratal Lake

Dist: 50km | Time: 8 to 10 hr | Altitude: 3800 m to 4250 m
Today you will visit the famous Key Gompa, and then continue towards Chandratal via a famous suspension bridge, Chicham Bridge. Brace yourself for the most thrilling day of your Himalayan motorcycle expedition. You will travel the steep gravel ascents to reach Kunzum Pass at 4500 metres. Sharp riding skills are required to safely navigate the narrow, direct tracks leading to the Chandratal lake.

Day 8: Chandratal to Manali

Dist: 111km | Time: 8 to 10 hr | Altitude: 4250 m to 2050 m
Today, prepare for the most difficult off-road biking experience of the Spiti Route. Precise throttle control is essential as you start your ride from Chandratal towards Manali. Driving through deep glacial water crossings and rough rubble through Batal and Chattru, you will finally hit paved roads at Koksar, eventually cruising through the Atal Tunnel to reach Mnalai and stay for the night.

Day 9: Manali to Chandigarh

Dist: 270km | Time: 6 to 8 hr | Altitude: 2050 m to 350 m
The final stretch of your Spiti Valley Bike Trip involves descending from the mountains back to the plains. Ride alongside the Beas River, carrying home a lifetime of thrilling memories from conquering the rugged Spiti Circuit. Hand over your bikes in Chandigarh and officially close the chapter on this epic journey.

Highlights

  • Make sure you are 100% comfortable with off-road biking. Expect to encounter slippery, narrow, unpaved roads and stretches of grit and rubble with water flowing through them.
  • Only backpacks are allowed. You can carry luggage weighing only 9-10 Kg per person. Extra luggage will cost you INR1500 per Kg.
  • You must carry valid identification proof at the time of check-in. (PAN cards are not accepted.
  • The sequence of the day-wise itinerary for the Spiti Bike Trip may change during the trip, depending upon restrictions or any other unknown issues.
  • We shall not be responsible for any change in the itinerary for the Spiti Bike Trip due to union issues, landslides, flight cancellations, weather conditions or any unforeseen events. The additional cost incurred will be in addition to the package price.
  • If you cancel your trip midway due to any reason, the remaining amount will be non-refundable.
  • No Refund or Compensation for any unused services/transportation in any circumstance.
  • Any increase in cost due to a medical emergency should be borne by the client. There will be no refund for any unused service.
  • If there is an unprecedented hike in the cost of transport during the trip (including fuel surcharge) or accommodation, it will affect the cost.
  • The timings given in the itinerary and program may be changed without notice.
  • Places mentioned in the itinerary may be skipped without notice.
  • Guests shall be liable to pay for any damages, except normal wear and tear to an asset, if any.

  • We will not pay, reimburse, cover losses or take any responsibility for any activity which is due to circumstances beyond our control. When we say circumstances beyond our control, it means any event that we cannot avoid even after taking all the necessary precautions. Such events include, but are not limited to, airport closures, war, natural disasters, nuclear disasters, pandemics, acts of terrorism, illness, death, injury, burglary, and bad weather.

Elastic Bandage/Crepe: Used to treat muscular strains and Sprains.

Pain Relief Spray: For fast relief from insect bites, scrapes, cuts and burns.

Avomine: It is used to treat allergies, trouble sleeping, and nausea.

Crocin: It provides symptomatic relief of mild to moderate pain, e.g., headaches or migraines.

Combiflam: It contains two painkiller medicines. They work together to reduce pain, fever, and inflammation

Muscle relaxant: It is used to mitigate symptoms such as muscle spasms, pain, and hyperreflexia.

Digene: Used against acidity caused by indigestion, providing quick relief.

Cetirizine: Used to relieve allergic symptoms like watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes/nose, sneezing, hives, and itching.

ORS: Oral Rehydration Solution. It is used to treat dehydration caused by diarrhoea, a common illness in travellers.

Note: This is just an explanation of medication that may be required. Kindly consult your doctor for a prescription before joining the trip. 

We understand that plans can change, but the booking amount is non-refundable due to the costs we incur in preparing for your tour or activity. If you wish to reschedule for a different date, we'll adjust it to the same package, providing you with the necessary flexibility.

If you have paid the total amount but cancelled the package. You will be provided with a refund as mentioned below:

  • 30 Days or More: 50% of the total amount is refundable.
  • 15 to 29 Days: 25% of the total amount is refundable.
  • 0 to 14 Days: No Refunds.

Tours or activities may be cancelled due to unforeseen events beyond our control, such as weather conditions heavy rain or storms) or government restrictions like sudden closures of specific areas. In such a scenario, we will provide an alternate tour or activity. However, no refunds will be provided.
