Day 1: Arrive at Srinagar and Transfer to Gulmarg

Upon your arrival at Srinagar airport, our vehicle will be ready to transfer you from Srinagar to Gulmarg, which is 59 kilometres away. After checking in at your accommodation, you can enjoy some exciting activities and adventures in Gulmarg.

Day 2: Gulmarg Sightseeing Tour.

Sightseeing Time: 5 to 6 hr
After breakfast, you will set off for an exhilarating Gondola ride on the world’s highest cable car (excluded). If time and weather permits, you can spend the remaining day exploring attractions such as the Golf Course, Maharaja Palace, and Children’s Park. In the evening you will return to the hotel.

Gondola Ride Phases:

The gondola ride is split into two phases:

Phase I: The ride starts at the Gulmarg resort and takes passengers to Kongdori Station (2600 meters) in the bowl-shaped Kongdori Valley. This leg of the journey lasts about 9 minutes.

Phase II: The gondola ascends Kongdori Mountain (3747 meters) from Kongdori Station, located at the shoulder of Apharwat Peak. This phase takes approximately 14 minutes.

The 3rd phase of the Gulmarg Gondola project, launched in 2011, introduced 90 chairlifts. The chairlifts connect Kongdori to the Mary Shoulder, a popular spot for skiing events. The ride takes 11 minutes.
