Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi to Manali

Dist: 529 km | Time: 12 to 16 hr | Altitude: 300 m to 2050 m
If you opt for a cab, you will drive towards Manali. Otherwise, you will board a Volvo Bus late in the evening, embarking on a scenic journey that will take 10-16 hours to reach Manali by the following day.
Meals: Nil
Night: Overnight journey by Volvo Bus or Cab

Day 2: Manali Local Sightseeing

Check-In: 11:00 am | Sightseeing Time: 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Upon arriving in Manali, you'll check into your hotel. The cab will drive you to popular spots such as Mall Road, Hadimba Temple, Van Vihar, Old Manali, the Museum, and the Clubhouse in the afternoon.
Meals: Dinner
Night: Stay at the Hotel in Manali

Day 3: Manali to Chandratal Lake

Dist: 130km | Time: 8 to 10 hr | Altitude: 2050 m to 4250 m
After enjoying your morning tea and breakfast, you'll set off for Chandratal Lake. via Solang valley, Atal Tunnel, Koksar and Batal. After reaching Chandratal in the evening, you will visit the lake after a short trek of 500 m. Later, you will check into your camps and stay for the night.

Night: Stay at the Campsite near Chandratal

Day 4: Chandratal to Manali and Depart

Dist: 130km | Time: 8 to 10 hr | Altitude: 4250 m to 2050 m
Today, you will descend towards Manali, passing through the rugged terrains of Batal, Chhatru, and Koksar before traversing the iconic Atal Tunnel. Upon reaching Manali in the evening, you'll board your Volvo bus or cab and embark on the return journey to Delhi.

Day 5: Arriving in Delhi

Dist: 529km | Time: 12 to 16 hr | Altitude: 2050 m to 300 m
After an overnight journey from Manali, you will arrive in Delhi in the morning. Here, you will conclude your adventure and leave for your home with experiences and memories to cherish forever.

Highlights

  • The trip begins after full payment, so please arrange everything in advance.
  • Roads after Gramphu to Batal are extremely rough, narrow, and rocky, so be prepared for off-roading.
  • Rohtang Pass requires a permit, which can be obtained online from the Himachal Tourism website. If you want to include it in your package for an additional cost, let us know before starting the tour
  • The last 14 km stretch from Batal to Chandratal is a dirt road and takes 1 to 1.5 hours.
  • The lake is about 500 m from the parking/camping area, and vehicles are not allowed up to the lake.
  • A separate Trip Captain is not provided for private tours; the Driver will manage the tour.
  • In case of blocked roads, decisions for guest safety will be made, and guests must agree.
  • Meals are included only during stays; no packed meals are available.
  • The daywise itinerary may change due to traffic, road restrictions, or unforeseen events.
  • Limited electricity and water facilities are available in Chandratal. Luggage assistance may be unavailable at Chandratal, so guests should carry their luggage.
  • Accommodation at Chnadratal will be essential with elementary facilities. Luxury stays are not available in Chandratal.
  • Additional sightseeing not included in the itinerary will incur extra charges.
