Rudranath, a revered temple of Lord Shiva nestled in the Garhwal Himalayas, is the fourth temple in the Panch Kedar pilgrimage circuit. The trek to Rudranath, considered the toughest among the Panch Kedar temples, offers breathtaking views of deep gorges, wild meadows, thick forests, and majestic Himalayan peaks like Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Nanda Ghunti. The trek can be started from Sagar village, Helang, or Urgam village. The trail, which passes through tall grass, oak, and rhododendron forests, is described as slippery.
Arrive in Sagar Village (base of Rudranath trek). If time permits you can also visit the village or temple dedicated to Sagar.
